The history about Johannes Pedersen a/s
The family-owned business Johannes Pedersen a/s was founded in 1975 by Johannes Pedersen.
Originally, Johannes Pedersen worked as a bus driver, but in 1965, he began using all his spare time to produce rubber grommets for cars, rubber hammers, and ashtrays. This provided him with the financial opportunity to invest in tools and machinery to produce spare parts for his greatest interest: cars.
Johannes Pedersen passed away in 1992 at the age of 63. Since then, Johannes Pedersen a/s has evolved into a well-established and solidly consolidated company with activities worldwide and premises spanning an impressive 42,000 square meters.
Martin Pedersen, CEO of JP Group Holding a/s, was born in Viborg on August 5, 1958, and has been the owner of the company since 1992, when he took over from his father, Johannes Pedersen. Martin Pedersen began working at JP Group a/s in 1983, just a few years after the company was founded.
Johs. Pedersen Maskinfabrik A/S is established with two employees (1975).

JP Group a/s acquires Quinton Hazell, Germany, and SSI, USA – and expands their warehouse in Denmark by 4,000 m2. (2013)
JP Group Automotive and Quinton Hazell - now with over 30,000 part numbers for European and Asian cars and a total of 38,000 m2 of warehouse and production space. (2015)

As of May 1, 2023, the company's TRAIN activity is sold to the strong Swedish group in the industry: Artex AB.
A new company - Johs. Pedersen TRAIN a/s - is established and continues/expands with the same businesses and employees at the address Hjulmagervej 4, Viborg, Denmark.
Johs. Pedersen a/s has entered into an exclusive partnership agreement with this new company to produce a wide range of technical products for the railway industry. (2023)
